It’s that time of year again. Daylight savings time officially ends Sunday at 2 AM so set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed tonight if you want to be in synch with everyone else tomorrow. Firefighters also use this time of year to remind everyone to change the batteries in their smoke detectors. Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company Chief Dean Miller says his firefighters have been teaching children to keep smoke detectors from going hungry by feeding them a battery. He also says carbon monoxide detectors need to have their batteries changed at this time of year too.
