New Supervisor Sworn-In

There’s a new face on the Montgomery Township Board of Supervisors.   Long time resident Sal Antonucci was appointed Monday night.   He replaces veteran Supervisor Bill Sarosky who resigned in October and still has almost six weeks left on his term.   Antonucci was a constable for 28-years and a leader of the Republican Party in Montgomery Township.   Supervisor Chairman Mike Fox says there was some discussion about giving one of the newly elected supervisors a running start on their term but Joe Walsh is still wrapping up his service on the North Penn School Board and Candyce Chimera was in favor of the Antonucci appointment.
