Bucks County Habitat for Humanity had a big sale Friday and Saturday at its Re-Store in Chalfont, with 50 percent off furniture and 30 percent off everything. Re-Store Manager Diana Curran says all proceeds benefit habitat home building programs, but the store also benefits habitat residents.
“It is also a tremendous vehicle for any of our families to come in and shop because they can then furnish their homes at an extremely reasonable price.”
She says all Bucks County Habitat employees and volunteers stay busy.
“We are an extremely active branch of Habitat for Humanity. We have a very, very good group that works here. They pull together and we get the job done.”
Curran says they always have specials, in addition to everyday prices of 75 percent or more below prices in other stores. Re-Store is open Wednesday through Saturday on Oak Avenue in Chalfont.
