Two men were injured at about 9:30 Tuesday morning when a minivan taxi left the road and struck two trees on Telford Pike at Line Drive in Franconia. The driver, 73-year-old David MacMullen of North Wales, was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. The passenger, 72-year-old Charles Lanan of Harleysville, was flown to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia for treatment. Franconia Township Police are investigating to determine why the minivan, owned by the Mid-County Transportation Company, crossed the center line and left the road.
