NP Schools Get New Super

The North Penn School Board has promoted Curt Dietrich to Superintendent of Schools. He says outgoing superintendent Robert Hassler, who is retiring, taught him well during his three years in the number-two spot.

“There’s certainly a challenge with the superintendency that you don’t experience as an assistant superintendent, but Bob’s done a great job of preparing me for the superintendency, and I worked side by side with him on so many issues that I feel well prepared.  I also must say my service as a school board member in a community where I lived has also helped prepare me for the superintendency.”

The board also welcomed new member Joe Sullivan and re-elected Vince Sherpinsky and Tim Kerr as president and vice president.
