About 125 hunters will be at Tyler State Park In Bucks County Wednesday for the annual deer hunt.
The park is in parts of Newtown, Northampton and Wrightstown Townships. It has had the hunts since 1987 to control the deer population and reduce their impact on plant life. When the park opens for hunters at 5:00AM, protesters will be there in a barricaded area. They say the hunt is more about politics and keeping hunters happy than it is about protecting the park.
