Toll Bros Losing Less

Toll Brothers reported a smaller loss in the first quarter of the current fiscal year than it had a year earlier, reflecting a slow recovery in the housing market. The company said it lost $40.8 million, compared to a loss of $88.9 million in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.  The Horsham-based luxury homebuilder’s CEO, Robert Toll, says the market is still in choppy waters but the seas are getting calmer.
