Armed Camp Found Near Montco Golf Course

wnpv_police_beatAuthorities are trying to learn more about three people who were arrested Sunday morning at a makeshift armed encampment near Route 63 and Twining Road in Upper Dublin. It was in a wooded area just off of Twining Valley Golf Club property.  Police found a .22-caliber rifle, ammunition and a homemade bomb and arrested 26-year-old Jonathan Mosko of Willow Grove, 22-year-old Jocelyn Carothers of Warrington and 24-year-old Jason Ryan of Cranford, New Jersey.  They are charged with risking a catastrophe and other offenses.  The Montgomery County Bomb Squad disposed of the bomb, which was a plastic bottle filled with gunpowder and firecrackers.  They had been living there for about three weeks, and police learned of the camp while talking with neighbors and golf course workers after a resident of nearby Dundee Drive called to report finding a golf cart on his property.
