Bucks Co Gets AAA Bond Rating

dollarMoody’s Investor Service has upgraded Bucks County’s bond rating to Triple-A, the highest rating available. It means investors have the least risk when they buy county bonds, and it lets the county borrow money at lower interest rates.  Chief Operating Officer Brian Hessenthaler says the county could save as much as $2 million when it borrows money to build a new justice center in Doylestown, thanks to the Triple-A rating.
