Phillies Close Out Series Against Giants Tonight

The third game of the ten game road trip concludes tonight in the Bay area for the Philadelphia Phillies when the tackle the San Francisco Giants.  Each team has used solid pitching to pick up a win in the three game series. Monday night, Roy Halladay went eight innings to earn his third win of the season in a 5-2 victory. Tuesday night, Madison Bumgarner spread out seven hits over six innings to pick up his second win of the season. Tonight’s game features Cliff Lee and Matt Cain. Lee is 0-1 with an ERA of 3.46. He gave up four earned runs and took the lose in a 5-2 Mets win this past Friday night. However, Lee has had his success in San Fran. The 33 year-old left hander is 3-0 while giving up less then a run a game at games played in the Giants home park. Cain is 1-0 after picking up his win his last time out against Pittsburgh. The Phils have won just four of thirteen series against the Giants at AT&T park dating back to the 2000 season. Radio coverage gets underway tonight on AM 1440 with the pre-game show at 9:40pm.
