Lansdale Borough Council has authorized advertisement of bid specs for building a new municipal complex on the Vine Street site of the existing one. Officials hope to award construction contracts for the $10,000,000 project in the coming weeks and administrators are expected to move out of Borough Hall and into temporary quarters before the middle of November. Council also authorized advertisement of bid specs for the restoration of the building facade at 3-11 Arts, the old Performing Arts Center on West Main Street. The contract for the consultant that is developing a business plan for 3-11 Arts was extended by one year as well.
