A 27-year-old man faces more burglary charges in connection with thefts in August in Skippack and according to police, other locations in Montgomery County. Police charged Royersford resident, Andrew Top with a list of charges. Police say, on August 21st a homeowner in Perkiomen Township spotted a car at around 11:30 in the morning coming out of the his driveway when he returned home. Police say, the homeowner followed the car, got the plate number and called police. The State Police Criminal Investigation Unit stopped a white Acura at a convenience store in Upper Providence Township. Troopers served Top with a search warrant on his car and home, finding stolen items from the home in Upper Perkiomen Township and another home in Skippack on Reginald Lane. Police say, Top is responsible for the theft of thousands of dollars in property from homes. Top was sent to prison in 2005 for a term of 18-to-25 months. In 2009 he was sentenced again for more burglaries. He was released this past June.
