Joe Gale’s victory in the Republican primary election for Montgomery County Commissioner is an earthquake in county politics, according to a major supporter of Gale’s campaign. Stan Casacio, a former Cheltenham Township Commissioner, has been active in the Republican party since 1967.
“We have been trying to have a voice for the conservative party community and we’ve been tossed out, thrown off, we’ve been shut out of everything. We’ve continually lost the state, this county and I’m tired of losing. We have to stand for something. This man has it right in the heart and he believes in it and I believe in him.”
Gale will run with Steve Tolbert in the November election for Montgomery County Commissioner against incumbent Democrats, Josh Shapiro and Val Arkoosh.
