Scranton resident, Joe Peters has thrown his hat in the ring for a run at the Attorney General’s Office on the republican ticket.
Peters has the experience that voters may find appealing for the position of top cop in the Commonwealth.
“I was a street cop in Scranton, went to law school. I spent about 17 years in the office of Attorney General, starting as a law clerk and a line prosecutor, working under every Attorney General, including all of the elected Attorney’s General.”
Peters, a guest on the WNPV’s AM Edition, was also employed in key positions in both the Clinton and George W. Bush Administrations as the head of drug enforcement, overseeing a 250 million dollar budget.
