A two-year-old MilfordTownship boy is dead as a result of a gunshot to the chest.
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death as an accidental shooting, but the Bucks County District Attorney’s office says it is still investigating the incident. According to Police reports, at around 11am Monday, two-year-old Benjamin Austin Smith suffered a gunshot to the chest. He was taken to Saint Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown where he passed away just before noon. The boy was at his grandparents home on the 2100 block of Kumry Road in Milford Township. They were not home at the time of the incident, but Police say the boy’s father, Nicholas Wylie, was at the home when the shooting occurred.
