Montgomery County is without a Director of Voter Services with the Presidential election just around the corner.
Director of Voter Services Kelly Green resigned on Friday. There’s no word as to why Green, who held the post since 2014, resigned. It appears the position isn’t the most stable in Montgomery County Government. Green, who was earning just over $88,000 a year, is the fourth director of voter services since 2012. According to Montgomery County officials, Green’s resignation was voluntary. The office has 14 full-time employees and officials say several administrators will oversee the Office of Voter Services until a new director is hired. A new director is not expected to be hired until after the November election.
