North Penn School Board member, Carolyn Murphy passed away over the past weekend due to failing health.
Board member, Suzan Leonard, a guest on WNPV’s AM Edition Wednesday morning, says Carolyn loved education.
“That’s what she was all about, other than her family that was her bedrock. She was very focused on making education better and certainly public education. She cared about the Administration, students and teachers and the quality of the education students were getting. She focused on class size and test scores and focused on those things and improving them. She was just the most dedicated woman that I think I ever met.”
Carolyn Murphy, a retired German language teacher, was in her second term on the North Penn School Board. Murphy was 71.
