A new restaurant is coming at the old SEPTA train station on West Broad Street in Souderton.
Borough Council Monday night approved leasing the one story, two thousand square foot building to a partnership formed between Boardroom Spirits, a distillery on West 3rd Street in Lansdale and Fase Incorporated, the operator of The Butcher and Barkeep Restaurant in Lower Salford. Borough Manager, Mike Coll, says the two partners have their own areas of expertise.
“Boardroom Spirit will be the primary lease holder and they will be supplying the liquor license to the property. Fase Restaurants will be the daily operator of the facility and the restaurant.”
The arrangement between the Borough and its two new tenants is actually a sublease. The Borough has a 30-year lease on the old train station with SEPTA, which is the owner of the property.
