Hoeffel: My Wife Told Me I Have to Stop Yelling at Trump on TV

Joe Hoeffel served as a Congressman representing Montgomery County from 1999 until 2004.

The veteran politician is running again for Congress. Hoeffel says, his wife told him to get back in the game.

“My wife told me, honey you have to stop yelling at Trump on the television and get back in the game and that’s exactly what I’m doing and I’m glad of it. Anger isn’t enough, I guess that’s what I’m trying to say. You got to get in and fight and do everything you can do and accomplish your goals and that’s the purpose of my campaign. Part of my deliberations was to take a poll to see how things stood between me and three other Democratic candidates, all find candidates and progressives like me and I have a 7 point lead and I thought was significant enough to warrant jumping back in and trying to fight for the values I believe. I also know Washington, D.C. and I could hit the ground running.”

Hoeffel, a guest on WNPV’s AM Edition Wednesday says, the Democratic Committee is not endorsing a candidate for the May 15th Democratic primary.
