Foreign Policy Expert Ed Turzanski wasn’t surprised by this week’s firing of the Trump Administration’s Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
Turzanski says he’s surprised it didn’t come sooner. Turzanski is with the Foreign Policy Institute in Philadelphia and is a regular contributor to 6ABC’s News Program, Inside Story.
“Tillerson seemed to be mismatched and overwhelmed by the job almost from the very start. I just mention parenthetically, I don’t do this to brag but only because it’s reflective of how long Tillerson was in trouble. Back in December one of my Inside Story’s I said Tillerson would be out and Mike Pompeo would be in. We thought it would happen in January, but no one can exactly tell the President‘s mind on these things.”
Turzanski was a guest on WNPV’s Comment Please By Univest Program Wednesday afternoon. Turzanski thinks it’s important to get the State Department straightened out prior to the talks with North Korea.
