It’s been one Nor’easter after another in the month of March. While the storms have created stress on crews and equipment, PennDOT says, the job is getting done.
PennDOT has more than 425 trucks on the roads and highways.
“It’s really not a good day to be on the roads for a number of reasons, including safety and allowing our trucks to plow, but for the most part people have made the right decision in staying home.”
PennDOT’s Brad Rudolph says, for anyone who has to drive to check out 511pa.com and the 511pa app.
“That will give you a sense of where the trucks are, how many are in the region. You can even plug in a route to see where our plows have been if that’s the route you’re going to travel and you can also see our highway cameras and get extensive real time conditions.”
Rudolph was a guest on WNPV’s Comment Please By Univest Wednesday afternoon.
