Former ROTC Instructor at North Penn Sentenced

A former ROTC instructor at north Penn High School will spend the next six to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to having sexual contact with a student in the program.

46 year old Mark Miller, a resident of Chester County, will also have to report his address to Pennsylvania State Police for the next 25 years as a convicted sex offender. The prosecutor accused miller of grooming the victim in his pursuit of her. The victim confirmed to the court that Miller had been seeking her out since the beginning of the 2016 school year. Court records show that Miller had three sexual encounters with the student, two in the Lansdale Business Park and one in a hotel on Sumneytown pike. Police used surveillance video as evidence to show that Miller was at the hotel with the student in Towamencin Township.
