Cosby’s Team Calls Jury Selection Discriminatory

Bill Cosby’s law team called the jury selection process discriminatory Wednesday after the prosecution sought to have an African American woman excluded from serving on the jury.

The prosecution says it’s a flawed charge because two African Americans have already been picked for the jury. Cosby is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in 2004 in his Cheltenham Township home. Following jury selection, along with six alternates, Cosby’s trial is scheduled to start April 9th in Montgomery County Court. His first trial ended in a hung jury.
