Constand Testifies in Bill Cosby’s Sex Assault Trial

Andrea Constand, who accuses Bill Cosby of drugging and molesting her at his Cheltenham Township home in 2004, told the jury Friday when she decided to leave the Temple University woman’s basketball program, where she was employed, Cosby invited her over to his home, giving her wine and pills.

Constand said the mixture left her unable to fend off what Cosby would allegedly do next. Constand told the jury of seven men and five women in Montgomery County Court that Cosby guided her to a couch, touching her and forcing her to touch him. Constand also told jurors she received a 3.38 million dollar settlement from Cosby in a 2006 civil lawsuit she filed against him.
