Friday, March 7 is World Day of Prayer 2014. The World Day of Prayer is an ecumenical celebration of informed prayer and prayerful action. Join in the prayer service written by the women of Egypt, which calls us to look for "streams in the desert". The same prayers will be used this day all over the world, from sunrise to sunset. The host church is Holy Trinity Episcopal church at 4th and Broad Streets, Lansdale, PA. The service will be held at 7:00 pm on March 7, 2014.
Invite your friends, family, co-workers and join us for this meaningful day. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.

The Historical Society of Montgomery County presents Tea with Eleanor Roosevelt, Sunday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m.
Renowned historical interpreter Rene Goodwin will present “Eleanor Roosevelt : The Early Years” This program covers the first fifty-five years of Mrs. Roosevelt’s life including the Roosevelt political climb and her life as a woman searching for her place in the world.

"BucksMont Indoor Sports Center, 2278 North Penn Road in Hatfield, PA is having another Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival Fundraiser for Weston on April 5,2014. Weston is a brave little boy from Tennessee who has been in the care of the doctors at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia since June 1, 2011 waiting for his biggest wish, a new heart and double lung transplant. This past December he received his life-saving miracle! All proceeds from the event will go to Weston’s family to help pay for his medical related expenses through the Children’s Organ Transplant Association. The Egg hunt is a free event ($5.00 donation suggested). Egg Hunt times are 1:30 PM ages 2-4, 2:00PM ages 5-7, 2:30 PM ages 8-10. The Carnival Fundraiser runs from 1:00PM-5:00PM and is $5.00 for adults and kids (kids 2 and under are free). Both events are held indoors and pre-registration is suggested.
