Thursday November 26
Join the Abington YMCA Thanksgiving morning for the “Gobble Wobble”. It’s a 5K run and 2 Mile walk for all ages through a beautiful Abington neighborhood. Registration includes a T-shirt while supplies last. There will be lots of prizes, a DJ, and free post-race refreshments. All proceeds benefit the YMCA’s financial assistance programs. Saturday, November 28
Please join us Sat Nov 28 for the 3rd Annual ShareJOY 5K run and 1 Mile fun walk for all ages, level course, at the beautiful Lower Perkiomen Park, Oaks, PA. $25, registration begins 8:30am (race begins 10:00am) and includes long-sleeved T-shirt while supplies last. Prizes for all age categories, post-race refreshments. Proceeds benefit the building of fresh water wells in Uganda and Cambodia through our missionaries who live and serve in those countries. This event is hosted by Valley Forge Baptist church in Collegeville, PA.

Sunday, November 29
Artistic Director, Mark Daugherty, and the Ambler Choral Society opens its 36th season with a concert, "Prelude to the Holidays" on November 29,2015 at 3:00 p.m. Vivaldi's Gloria and, O Magnum Mysterium, Mendelssohn's Heillig, and favorite music for Hanukkah and Christmas with a congregational sing-along of carols and the Hallelujah Chorus. Friday, December 4
Fine Crafts and Original Artwork featured at the Mennonite Heritage Center
Visit the Mennonite Heritage Center, 565 Yoder Rd., Harleysville, the first weekend in December for the opening of the Fine Craft Show & Sale and the Fine Art Exhibit. The shows are held annually during the month of December and are a wonderful opportunity to purchase fine pottery, textiles, wood carvings, baskets and affordable original art. There’s something for every budget!
The shows open with the Christmas Market tour on Saturday, December 5 from 9:30 to 4 pm and Sunday, December 6 from noon to 4 pm. The event is a joint holiday tour with the Goschenhoppen Historians, Green Lane, and the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center in Pennsburg. The Goschenhoppen Historians transform their museum into a Christmas tree wonderland and have a bake sale that is a Pennsylvania German epicurean delight. Schwenkfelder Library features an elaborate Christmas putz, exhibits and a well stocked gift store with unique items. The event is free of charge at all three sites.

Opening Weekend: Saturday, December 5, 9:30 am-4pm, Sunday, December 6, 12 noon to 4 pm
Throughout December: Tuesday through Saturday: 10 am to 5 pm. Closed December 25 and 26.

Tuesday, December 8
Citizens for Constitutional Government will bring to the floor information on voter ID in PA. The main topic will be on Pension Reform with Raeann Hopkin, CPP as our speaker.
