Monday, September 18-22
The next Hatfield Museum & History Society Community Program will be titled, “Wrecks on the Rails” and will feature stories of many of Hatfield’s trains and trolley accidents. The program, presented by Society President, Larry Stevens, will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd beginning at 7:30pm, in the Hatfield Fire Co. Banquet Hall. The public is invited to this free presentation and refreshments will be served.

Indian Valley Faith Fellowship hosts Christian Music Hall of Fame artist Randy Stonehill for a family-friendly concert! Saturday, September 20
Join us...September 20th for the Indian Valley Character Counts! Coalition and One Life One Chance Community Awareness Walk and Fun Fair. The Walk begins at 11:00am and the Fun Fair will follow at Noon. The walk raises awareness of the dangers of substance abuse and use and honors those who have passed or who are in recovery! We will begin the walk at the Souderton Borough Park... and walk through Souderton. It is about a 2.6 mile walk (not a 5K). The first 100 to arrive will receive a free t-shirt. (Sizes are limited!) Following the walk will be an old fashioned back yard fair with free food, family FUN, music, face painting, moon bounce, resources and guest speakers to help with the substance use/abuse issue and more.

he New Britain Township Veterans Committee will be hosting its 5th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, September 20th at North Branch Park, 207 Park Avenue, Chalfont, PA, from 8:00am to 2:00pm. All proceeds from the event benefit the construction of Veterans Park located at the corner of New Galena and Walters Roads. Veterans Park will honor all Veterans who served or are presently serving in the United States Armed Forces. As part of the Fall Festival, a car show will be held from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Awards will be given based on Veterans’ choice and public choice.

Come out to the 4th Annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival at Green Lane Park. Follow the signs to the Amphitheater where there will be live music, native plants, a bird calling contest, crafts and games for the kids, artists and vendors, a butterfly release, Habitat Rap puppet show, free hayrides, food and drink, and the Pennsylvania Forest Products Association’s woodmobile. On Sunday September 28th from 8 am to 12 noon, the Knights of Columbus, Pius IX Council will be hosting their monthly - Breakfast with the Knights. Family Worship Center, 1000 Troxel Road, Lansdale invites all children and their families to their free KIDZ FALL FUN FEST on Sunday, September 28 from 6-8 PM in the gym!
Come for a free night of kid-sized fun: carnival games, candy, prizes, hot dogs, cookie decorating, face painting, craft and so much more!

Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Road (formerly Sumneytown Pike) Harleysville invites the community to a concert by the nationally known Christian group, LOST and FOUND, on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 3:00. Cost is $10.00 per ticket, $25.00 per family and children under age 5 are free. This group is comprised of George playing piano, and Michael playing guitar. Gwynedd Friends Coffeehouse welcomes the Ridge Avenue Quartet to its stage.
The Ridge Avenue Quartet is an Ambler based string quartet.
Gwynedd Friends Coffeehouse is located at 1101 DeKalb Pike in Gwynedd PA (the corner of Rte. 202 {DeKalb Pike} and Sumneytown Pike).
