Souderton Area School District offers a program, ADDRESSING BEHAVIOR CONCERNS, presented by Dr. Robert Naseef at the SASD Administration Building, 760 Lower Road in Souderton. 6:30pm. This workshop addresses the challenging behaviors exhibited by children of all ages with special needs ranging from executive functioning to autism. It will focus on 1) Understanding Your Child’s Behavior, 2)Behaviors can be a Form of Communication, 3)Behavioral Supports, 4) Guiding Children to more socially appropriate ways of self-expression, 5) Practical behavioral approaches to concerns regarding common regulatory issues. It is open to the public. Dr. Naseef combines his own experiences as a parent of an adult child with autism with his scholarship and insight. He is a psychologist who is internationally known, author of numerous books, and has received high praise and recognition from parents and colleagues. Friday, October 24
Authenticated ghost sighting by the famous author, Pearl S. Buck Ghost Tours of Bucks County will be enacted on Friday, October 24th at 6 and 8pm and again on Sunday, October 26th at 4:30 and 6pm. Pre- registration at www.pearlsbuck.org/events is suggested as the historical tours are limited in size. Ghost Tours will depart from the Welcome Center and are appropriate for middle school age and adults. $10 Ghost Tour fee also includes freshly pressed Apple Cider.

Saturday, November 1
Christ Covenant Church, 2200 Mainland Road (formerly Sumneytown Pike), Harleysville, will host a Free Community Pasta Dinner including meatballs, salad, rolls and homemade desserts on Saturday, November 1 at 5:00 p.m. No reservations are required.
