Wisconsin(7-5) vs. Florida State (8-4)
This game features one of the youngest coaches (Bret Bielema-Wisconsin) against one of the grand daddies still in the game today (Bobby Bowden-FSU)
Wisconsin is 21-5 in the two years Bielema has been in charge. After starting the season 3-0, the Badgers stumbled through a four game losing streak with one of those losses being a 48-7 drubbing at the hands of Penn State at home. Wisconsin finished the season 4-1 to grab the Champs bid.

The Seminoles are lead by one of the winningest head coaches in major college history, Bobby Bowden. Currently in his 33rd season as head man at FSU, Bowden's has won 381 times with 314 of those wins coming while at FSU.  FSU did not lose back to back games this season, but enter the contest having lost the big inter-state rivalry to Florida back on November 29th, 45-15.  This is the Seminoles 27th straight year participating in a bowl game-the longest active streak in the nation.
Pennsylvania football fans will find former Altoona Mountain Lion CB A.J. Alexander on the roster.

Emerald  Bowl   7:35pm
California (8-4) vs. Miami (7-5)
It will be a school record sixth consecutive bowl appearance when the Golden Bears take on the Hurricane in San Francisco's AT&T park. Under head coach Jeff Tedfor, Cal has won four of those five previous bowl games, the most recent being last years  42-36 win over Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. Keep an eye on RB Jahvid  Best who enters the game with 1,394 yards rushing an average of 127 yards per game.

The "U" as it is referred to by many, will be facing the Golden Bears for the fourth time in the  programs  history. Miami leads the series 2-1. The Hurricanes will be making their 34th bowl appearance, but first under second year coach Randy Shannon. Miami is 19-14 overall in bowl appearances, 8-2 in their last ten. Miami features a balanced offensive attach with 1,561 rushing yards and 2,364 yards passing.

Alamo Bowl  7:35pm
# 23 Missouri (9-4) vs. # 20 Northwestern (9-3)
After starting the season 5-0, the Tigers where 3-2 down the stretch, losing their final two contests. One of those losses was to top ranked Oklahoma, 62-21. This game makes it four straight bowl appearances for the Tigers and five in the last six years. Head coach Gary Pinkel is 2-2 in bowl games while at Missouri. A win and this years team will be only the third team in school history to record a double-digit win season.

Like Mizzou, NW started the season 5-0. The two teams have meet eight times before with the series notted at 4-4. However, the last meeting was more then twenty years ago, a Missouri 28-3 win back in 1987. The Wildcats hope to get leading rusher Tyrell Sutton (broken wrist) back for the game. Sutton has rushed for 806 yards on 155 carries and five touchdowns.
Pennsylvania football fans will notice the bothers Williams (Nate and Quentin) on the NW roster. Both played at Pittsburgh Central Catholic.

Holiday Bowl  7:35pm
#13 Oklahoma State (9-3) vs. #15 Oregon (9-3)
After a 7-0 start, the Cowboy's crawled to the finish line 2-3, losing to Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma in the Big 12's tough South Division. Defense gave up almost 36 points per game during that stretch. This is the first nine win season since 2003 and only their second plus .500 season since then. Oakie St. is 12-6 in bowl games, best record in the Big 12. Head coach Mike Gundy is a former OSU QB.

Ducks come into the game with a modest three-game win streak, finishing tied for second in the PAC-Ten (Oregon St.) with a 7-2 record behind USC. This is the Ducks third appearance in the Holiday Bowl. They beat Texas 35-30 (2000) and lost to Oklahoma 17-14. (2005) This is however the first meeting between these tow teams. The Oregon offense is lead by senior running back Jeremiah Johnson. (1,082 yard rushing / 12 TD's) The Duck offense led the PAC-Ten in scoring, averaging 41.9 points per game.

Iowa (8-4) vs. South Carolina (7-5)
Iowa won five of their last six including the upset win over Penn State. Their four losses were by a combined 12 points. This the Hawkeyes third appearance in the Outback Bowl. Both previous games were against the Florida Gators, which they split. RB Shonn Greene has rushed for 1,729 yards or 144 yard per game and 17 touchdowns.

The Gamecocks have beaten Ohio State twice in their only appearance in the Outback Bowl. They will enter the game with the nations third-ranked pass defense. South Carolina has a loss record in bowl games. (4-9) This will be Steve Spurrier's first bowl game has SC head coach. Spurrier is 28-21 in four season in South Carolina.

#6 Penn State (11-1) vs. #5 USC (11-1)
This is the second meeting between these two in the Rose Bowl. USC won 14-3 back in 1923.  It will be the ninth time the two teams have played each other with the series tied at 4 a piece. Sophomore RB Evan Royster averages 6.5 yards per carry. (1,202 total) JR. QB Daryll Clark has thrown for 2,300. Offense averages 41 points per game while the defense gives up 12 points per contest.

The Trojans are PAC 10 champions. USC's only loss came week three to Oregon State. This is the Trojans fourth consecutive Rose Bowl appearance, their 33rd bowl overall. The Trojan defense has allowed just 93 total points or 7.8 points per game. This includes three shut-out wins. Offense is balanced rushing for 2,472 and passing for 2,965.

#12 Cincinnati (11-2) vs. #21 Virginia Tech (9-4)
Bearcats ride into the game on a six game winning streak. Lost week two to second ranked Oklahoma 52-26 on the road. Brian Kelly has won 21 games in his two years as head coach. The teams are 4-4 in head to head action. This is the Bearcats first January 1st day game since they appeared in the Sun Bowl in 1951.

Beat Boston College for the ACC title, avenging an earlier season loss. Va Tech won the last time these two teams met, 29-13 in 2006. Hokies are 7-14 in bowl action. They are 1-5 in their last six bowl games. Running back Darren Evans leads all rushers with 1,112 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Liberty Bowl  4pm
East Carolina (9-4) vs. Kentucky (6-6)
Third consecutive bowl appearances for the Pirates. Ninth bowl appearance since 1990. Did lose three in a row after winning first three. However have won 11 of their last 15. Pirates are 2-1 in overtime games this season. Won Conference USA title beating Tulsa, their first conference title since 1976. Head coach Skip Holtz is in his (29-21) is in his fourth season. QB Pat Pinkney has thrown for 2,379 yards and 12 TD's.

Two teams have met just once (1993) with Kentucky winning 6-3. After starting season 4-0, finished 2-6. While it is Kentucky's first appearance in the Liberty bowl, head coach participated as a player back in 1962 with Oregon State. This is 50th anniversary of the bowl game that originated in Philadelphia. Wildcats are going for the school record third straight bowl win. They are 7-5 in bowl games overall. The Wildcats do bring a 13 game non-conference winning streak into the game.

#4 Alabama (12-1) vs. #7 Utah (12-0)
The last time Alabama was in the Sugar Bowl, the beat Miami for the National Title. (1993) It will be the first meeting for these two schools. 'Bama's only loss was the final week against Florida. Before that, the 'Tide were the nations top ranked team. Alabama leads the NCAA in bowl appearances with (56) and wins (31). Utah is Alabama's 34th different bowl opponent.

Utah is 12-0 for the second time in school history. The last time was 2004. The Utes have the nations longest win streak at 13 games and the second longest bowl winning streak at seven. Utah beat two nationally ranked teams this season. Then #11 TCU and #14 BYU. Utah is 15th in the nation in scoring averaging more then 37 points per game.

#10 Ohio State (10-2) vs. #3 Texas (11-1)
This is the third meeting between these two teams with the series tied 1-1. This will be the Buckeye's sixth appearance in the Fiesta Bowl. They have won four in a row. The only losing coming against Penn State back in 1980. Ohio State's last appearance was a 34-20 win in 2006. The Buckeye's won the National Title in the Fiesta Bowl, beating Miami in OT in 2003. (Ohio State beat Texas in the regular season that same year, 24-7)
Ohio State features duel threat in freshman QB Terrelle Pryor. (1,245 yards passing with 12 TD's and 553 yard rushing and 6 TD's)

Texas is led by Junior stud QB Colt McCoy (3,334 yards passing / 32 TD's) McCoy was also a Heisman finalist. Oh, and McCoy was also the teams leading rusher. (576 yards / 10 TD's) Longhorns coming off nations leading eight-consecutive 10 win season. It is also Texas's 11 consecutive bowl appearance. The Longhorns last appearance in the Fiesta bowl was a 1997 38-15 loss to Penn State. Head coach Mack Brown is 7-3 in bowl games with Texas.

#1 Florida (12-1) vs. #2  Oklahoma
Only loss came to Mississippi week four,  31-10. Beat Alabama in SEC Championship game. Defense gives up just 12 points per game (5th in the nation) but will be facing a Sooner offense that averages  54 points per game. While Florida is ranked number one by the AP, they are ranked second in the BCS, Oklahoma is number 1.  University of Florida has won two National titles over the years. Head coach Urban Meyers is looking for his fifth bowl win is six years.
Second game in game in eight days in Dolphin Stadium. Orange was played here on January 1st. Game features last years Heisman winner (Tim Tebow-Florida) and this years winner. (Sam Bradford-Oklahoma) This is the first meeting between the two teams.
The Oklahoma offense enters the game averaging over 560 total yards per game. Oklahoma is going for their eight national championship.

Radio Tops Internet Advertising in Credibility by Wide Margin. Alexandria, VA – September 29, 2014 – A new national survey from Vox Populi Polling, a leading polling company that designs and fields surveys to uncover what is happening within the political and public policy landscape, finds radio an extremely effective way to reach swing voters. Research shows that 81% of swing voters say they listen to AM/FM radio on a regular basis. Moreover, voters across the political spectrum report that radio ads are more credible than the ads they see on the internet by a 56-35 margin, which increases to a 62-38 margin among low turnout voters.
