Biz Fair At Gwynedd-Mercy

wnpv_businessThe PennSuburban Chamber of Commerce held its annual Business Fair Thursday afternoon at Gwynedd-Mercy College. Chamber Small Business Committee Chair Tanya Bamford says a record number of businesses signed up, probably because participating in chamber events has many benefits.

“There’s always an opportunity to get out there and gain more exposure for your business being presented through the chamber, so I highly recommend that people join the chamber.”

She says she stays busy running her own business and chairing the committee, and the chamber is sponsoring a Small Business University in the fall.

“It’s a half-day event full of educational topics and programming.  Several different tracks are being offered in November at the Peter Becker Community.”

Bamford says the Small Business University will start with breakfast, followed by seminars on topics that owners responding to a survey last year said they want to know more about to take their businesses to the next level.  She appeared Thursday on the WNPV talk program Comment Please by Univest, which was broadcast live from the Business Fair.
