Bowling Alley Coming To Lansdale

FoodtownIt looks like a family entertainment center with a bowling alley, bar, party rooms and restaurant is coming to Lansdale. It would use the space occupied for the last two years by Super Foodtown, in the Pavilion Shopping Center on South Broad Street.  Owner Joseph Grasso says the grocery store was not making enough money to pay the rent, so they had to close it.  He hopes to start converting the space in two or three weeks and open the entertainment center in September.  At one time the Town and Country Lanes stood on the northern end of the Pavilion property.  Another bowling alley, bar and restaurant is planned for East Main Street, in the space formerly occupied by Super Fresh and Clemens Markets.  It’s just down the street from the site of Lans-Bowl, which burned down more than four years ago.
