Parx Casino Proposes Parking Garage

The company that owns the Parx Casino in Bucks County has proposed building a four-story parking garage with more than 2,000 spaces. The casino has about 7,400 parking spaces now, and plans submitted to Bensalem Township Council call for another 2,200 at the 413-acre complex off Street Road.  The plans call for a two-phase project in the existing parking area near the casino building.  The garage was one of several items in a comprehensive plan submitted to the state in 2006, when Greenwood Gaming first applied for a casino license.  The other items include a golf course, a convention center and a hotel.
