Lansdale officials have hired an image consultant to develop a brand for the borough. The consultant, Ed Barlow of North Star Destination Strategies, says a brand is much more than a pretty logo and catchy advertising slogan.
“It’s how people can emotionally connect with Lansdale. Logo and lines are important, but we’re going after what that competitive advantage is for Lansdale, and then how that can be considered creatively throughout the community.”
The company is launching a survey on the borough website www.lansdale.org as part of the branding process. It will give borough council a report in the fall, and the fee will not exceed $73,000.
