Summer Fun Fair Set For March

“North Penn Under Ten” holds a Summer Fun Fair in March to acquaint families with children’s activities over the summer. That Organization’s Aimee Heavener says a Preschool Expo held in January went very well.

“That had close to a hundred families, so we’re expecting an even bigger turnout for this because it’s a wider audience.  This is families of any age looking for things for kids to do this summer from library programs all the way up to full-day or half-day camps.”

Steve Jones of Milestones in Music says he decided to co-sponsor the Summer Fun Fair after participating in the Preschool Expo.

“We were just blown away.  It was great.  We had good interaction with the families.  The parents, the kids, were all enjoying themselves and they got good information, and so we just knew we had to be involved with the Summer Fun Fair.”

Jones says the fair will give families information about safe and worthwhile summer children’s activities at parks, libraries, churches and other places.  The Summer Fun Fair takes place Saturday, March 10, from 10:00am until 1:00pm, at the Towamencin Fire Station on Bustard Road.  He and Heavener appeared Monday on the WNPV talk program BuxMont Live.
