The public is invited to Towamencin Day from noon to 4:00pm Saturday, May 19, with music, food and family fun. The location is Fischer’s Park (pictured here), but Township Supervisors Chairman Dan Littley says that could change.
“We are looking at later in time, not this year or next year but when Towamencin Avenue is fully developed, to really take a look at having Towamencin Day up there.”
He says entertainment includes a canine agility demonstration, and people can bring their own dogs as long as they are on a leash and under control. The event takes place rain or shine, and overflow parking is available at the Towamencin Business Center at Sumneytown Pike and Bustard Road, with shuttle bus service between there and the park.
