PTW Is 10 Years Old

ptwThe Physical Therapy and Wellness Institute celebrated its tenth anniversary Thursday at the original location, on South Broad Street in Lansdale.

Founder and President Bob Babb says they try to achieve their mission through one goal.

“Our goal here is to get people well if they need help with joint pain, back pain, and get them to higher levels of performance, not just on the sports field but in the home, and get them to function better in life.”

In the last ten years PTW has opened other centers in Quakertown, and Montgomery and West Norriton Townships.  Lansdale Mayor Andy Szekely, who attended the anniversary celebration, says a lot of people need physical therapy.

“I think at some point or another everyone is going to experience muscular-skeletal pain, and fortunately for us (physical therapy) is something that can’t be farmed out or sent overseas.”

Mayor Szekely says Babb and PTW employees have also done a lot of good through the Broad Street Rerun charity fundraiser and other community involvement.
