Towamencin officials are moving ahead with a tribute for Doctor Tom Hollenbeck, the township supervisor that passed away suddenly in May. Wednesday night they discussed building a pavilion in Fischer's Park for families with autistic and special needs children. Doctor Hollenbeck wanted to rennovate an old pavilion near Towamencin Creek for just that purpose. A planning consultant says it has structural issues and is situated in wetlands but the township supervisors like the general location. The consultant also says there are alot of options with this project and the supervisors may even want to consider building a gazebo instead of a pavilion.
