Property taxes are on the way up in Telford. Borough Council has approved a budget for next year that calls for an increase of almost 10%. That translates into about $50 for the average homeowner. Borough officials blame the increase on declining revenues and increases in fixed costs. The budget includes no big capital projects and very little in the way of road repair. Borough employees will receive a 4% salary increase next year.
