Five suspects from Bulgaria are being held at Montgomery County Prison after their arrest for scamming funds from more than 140 bank accounts. Investigators say they used skimmers and pinhole cameras to get what they needed to withdraw almost $135,000 from automatic teller machines in Montgomery and Chester Counties. The suspects allegedly placed skimmer deviices on the slots of A-T-Ms located at Citizen Bank and Wells Fargo Bank branches in Lower Providence, Springfield, Lower Merion and West Whiteland Townships. The skimmers picked up account information and pin codes when customers put their cards into the slots.
