A former Montgomery County public defender is running for judge. Upper Dublin resident John Armstrong has announced he will seek the endorsement of the county Republican committee at its meeting on February 9th. He was the husband of the late Judge Toby Dickman and says continuing her legacy is his prime reason for running. Two new judges will be elected by Montgomery County voters in November. They will replace Judge Paul Tressler and Judge Kent Albright. Both of them have reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.
