Power outage….two words homeowners never want to hear, particularly when it’s pushing 90 degrees. More than 1,000 residents in Montgomery Township were left without electric for a period of time on Monday due to a power line that was down. Power outages occurred mainly in the area of North Wales Road and Bethlehem Pike. The downed power line in Hawthorne Drive led to the outages, according to Peco. The power went out just before 4pm Monday. Nearly all residents were back on line by Monday evening.
