Hot Temps Could Impact Finances of People on Fixed Incomes

Hot temperatures over the last several weeks can have an impact on finances, particularly for residents who are on fixed incomes. PPL’s Joe Nixon says the utility offers options to residents who may be struggling.

“There are a variety of programs for those who may be struggling to pays their bills and, of course, people can find great information about our programs at PPLELECTRIC.COM/BILLHELP. There’s a lot of great programs there. We stress that if folks are having trouble with their bills, contact us so that we can help.”

A toll free number is also available at PPL for more information…1-800-342-5775. Nixon says, while temperatures have been consistently hot, high usage has not caused any delivery problems. PPL’s record usage occurred on August 1st of 2006.
