September is National Preparedness Month. The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s, Tim Manning, a guest on Monday morning’s AM-Edition on WNPV says, families and individuals should have blankets, flashlights, battery operated radios and develop a home escape plan. Manning says, you also may want to include a non-family member.
“Say you can’t bet back to your home or you have to leave or you’re separated. Who can be that person that everybody contacts, so you can find out that everybody is safe and how to reunite.”
Manning says, more information is available at Ready.Gov
