Still Time To Donate Coats, Other Items For Veterans

The American Legion Riders Post 234 in Souderton is holding a special drive for veterans. Nancy Buck is the Coordinator for Post 234.

“We’re in our 5th year now of collecting coats and hygiene products for veterans who are at the Coatesville Veterans Hospital. Some vets are there for an extended period of time and many of them rarely get visitors. This our way of giving something back and we hope the public can join us in donating coats, for both men and women. Anyone who would like to make a monetary donation can write a check to the Coatesville Veterans Home.”

For more information on donating coats or hygiene products, call 215-723-6641. The coat drive will end on November 1st. Members of the American Legion Riders Post 234 will bring the items to the Coatesville Veterans Hospital on November 16th.
