Consumer Advocate: Don’t Get Overcharged with Car Service

The Bucks County Department of Consumer Affiars is reminding drivers about getting fair and reliable service for car repairs. Director, Mike Bannon says, to avoid being overcharged, you have to take charge.

“It’s important that you set a dollar limit on the amount of work they can do without contacting you, or you can just say call me before you do any work.”

Bannon urges people to visit Buckscounty.org for a brochure on how to find and choose the right auto mechanic. Bannon was a guest on the AM Edition Tuesday morning.
