The Towamencin Supervisors have approved a zoning ordinance amendment that allows more uses in the Towamencin Business Center, near Bustard Road and Sumneytown Pike. The center is currently designed a planned business campus zoning district. Township Solicitor, Jack Dooley says the change allows the Assembly of Medical and Dental Devices as a conditional use.
“As a conditional use, anyone proposing that use, would need to come before the Board of Supervisors and indicate very specifically what the use would be and the square footage that it would occupy.”
A company that already does business in Towamencin wants to expand its operations in the Township by putting together Dental Surgery Devices in the partially vacant building that used to house office space for Clemens Market
