Bucks Co Row Officer Dies

bibleBucks County Recorder of Deeds Ed Gudknecht died Tuesday at the age of 73 after a battle with cancer. He served for 25 years, holding the elected position for longer than anyone else in history.  County Commissioner Charley Martin says he did his job very well, and modernized the recorder of deeds office.  He was also active in the Republican Party.  Ed Gudknecht is survived by his five children, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
