Land near South Broad Street and Sumneytown Pike in Upper Gwynedd has been rezoned to allow townhouses. The owner will need land development approval before building can start, and Township Commissioners President Ken Kroberger says maintenance issues about the 5.5-acre site will be addressed.
“We have received complaints. I know that our zoning officer has been out there on numerous occasions trying to get them to keep the property maintained to the level that they should.”
The developer’s sketch plans show a mix of townhouses and single-family homes.
