Sellersville’s water problem has been corrected, and tap water on the south side of town is now safe to drink. Water system customers were advised on Wednesday to boil their water before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, preparing food or washing dishes. A loss of pressure caused by two early-morning water main breaks allowed possible bacterial contamination to get into the water. Now tests have found it safe to drink, and boiling is no longer necessary.
