The meeting of Lansdale Borough Council started out on a somber note last night. Officials there took a moment to remember long time Reporter Newspaper employee Lynn Janoff. She faithfully attended council meetings for years before losing a battle with cancer last Saturday at the age of 62. Janoff was a community volunteer. She worked tirelessly for the Lansdale Public Library. She was a member of the First Friday Committee too and gave her time freely at the International Spring Festival. She also supported many non-profit groups including the Robin Hood Foundation and Community Housing Services.
