Lansdale officials are moving ahead with a realignment of real estate between the borough and its parking authority. The idea is to have the deeds for community property reflect ownership by the correct municipal authority. White's Road Park is a case in point. It is currently owned by the authority even though it has very little to do with parking. The land swaps will be considered exchanges in kind and there won't be any money involved. Borough Council could take action on the property swaps at its business meeting on April 20th. The parking authority would also have to approve the exchange. That could happen either this month or in May.
