There was an open house at Lansdale Borough Hall Wednesday night about the redevelopment of the Madison Parking Lot. The public forum was held as the Borough Parking Authority gets ready for a meeting next week with more than a dozen developers that want a chance to pitch their ideas for the seven-and-a-half acre site. The lot currently has about 240 spots. Lansdale officials say whatever proposal wins approval can't allow them to be lost. The borough is conducting a parking study and plans for the redevelopment of the Madison Lot will also be required to dovetail with the recommendations of that report.
